Obituary of Raymond Stroman

STROMAN, Raymond Age 59 of Elmira, NY. He was born April 30. 1958 in Elmira, the son of Caesar and Myrtle (Robinson) Stroman and passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 unexpectedly. He was predeceased by his father Caesar Sr. and brother Caesar Jr. Raymond is survived by his mother Myrtle Stroman; wife Kimberly (Middaugh) Stroman; children Ramon, Sherese, Titus, Amy, Kiara and stepdaughter Dee; several grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. Also survived by his nephews Sterling, Caesar III, Lamont, Philip Brailsford, Todd Steinhauer and niece Kim Stroman. Raymond graduated from Southside High School. He was a loyal and dedicated employee of Anchor Glass for 40 years holding various positions throughout those years. Raymond was a family oriented man and enjoyed sharing activities with his children. Bow hunting was one of his favorite sports. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, displaying their logo on his car. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, May 6th from 2 to 4 pm. His memorial service will follow at 4 pm. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
