Horsey, Maggie

Age 82, of Elmira, departed this life, on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She retired from Anchor Hocking. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Hallie and Bessie Thomas Preston; and fourteen siblings. Mrs. Horsey is survived by her husband Richard Horsey of 64 years; children, Helen Smith (James), Maryilyn  Leonard (Walter Sr.), Richard Jeffrey Horsey (Penny), Cassandra Washington (Thomas), June Horsey, David Horsey (Sherry), Kevin Horsey (Pauline), Karen Pierson (Mark); grandchildren, Tanya, Eli, Shannon, Janiese, Shelley, Walter Jr., Tameka, Valene, Jeremy, Tiffiney, Gabrielle, Livia, Howard, Clarice, Sabrina, Nathaniel, Kevin Jr.; several great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends.  Family and friends are invited to visit at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave, Elmira on Saturday, September 23rd from 12 to 1 pm. Her memorial service will follow there at 1 pm.
