Obituary of Raymond Martin

Raymond Martin Sr. On January 31, 2018, Raymond Martin, Sr., age 80, lost his month long battle to injuries he sustained after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Elmira. He was born in Middletown, Ohio and moved to New York 40 years ago. He was an avid fisherman, loved playing Bingo and in the 80's was a big fan of CB radio; his call sign was Lumberjack, or as many called him "LJ" for short. Raymond is survived by his ex-wife Mary Martin of Elmira and his sons, Raymond Jr., Harold, Scott and Richard. No funeral services are planned; in lieu of cards or flowers the family asks you make a donation to the S.P.C.A. in his name as he was an avid pet owner.
