Obituary of Edward W. Pronti

PRONTI, Edward W. Age 59 of Elmira, NY. He was born June 21, 1958 in Elmira, son of the late Michael J. and Jean (Burdick) Pronti and passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at home after an extended illness. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Mark and Tom. Ed is survived by his children Stacylynn and Tom VanOsdol of Corning, Stephanie Pronti and William Halstead of Elmira, Samantha Pronti and Andrew Spicer of Elmira and their mother Darlene Rynkowski of Bradford, NY, Amanda and Abdul Muhammad of Scranton, PA, Brandon Mayes and Jessica LaVigne of Elmira, Tabatha Mayes and Aaron Wyche of Elmira and their mother Lisa Mayes of Elmira; grandchildren Diona, Madalynn, Masen, Gavin, Alexandria, Jace, Dylann, Cobey, Peyton, Tyler, Marguerite, Katorro and Kingston; great granddaughter Acelynn Grace along with many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ed was employed with Best Construction Co. He was always looking out for others and helped anyone and everyone whenever needed. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, May 1st from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
