ROE, Thomas D.
Of Big Flats, born on February 15, 1949, the son of the late Guy Roe Jr. and Helen Davis and passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family and his devoted dog, Mia.
Thomas is survived by his wife Pamela, his daughter Tina (Terry); his sons Brian, Barry (Jessica), Bill (Theresa); his grandchildren Kayla, Kyle, Kayla, Chloe, Aubri, and Hayden; brothers Anthony and Tim; his extended family, John, Lisa, Bill, and Brenda, along with his nieces, nephews, his beloved canine companion and so many dear friends.
Tom was a hard Time Warner Cable employee of 47 years. He will be remembered as a loyal and trusted friend to many. Everyone who knew Tom knew he could be counted on whenever he was needed.
Many thanks to the Guthrie Cancer Center for the care Tom received; your staff always put a smile on his face. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Saturday, May 19th at 4 pm at the Northside Presbyterian Church, 921 College Ave., Elmira. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation in Tom’s memory to the Arctic League, P.O. Box 113 Elmira, NY 14902. This was a cause that was very special to Tom; he participated every year with his friend Chuck. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
