Obituary of Robert J. Kramarik

KRAMARIK, Robert J. age 82 of Elmira, NY. He was born September 9, 1935 in Troupsburg, NY, son of the late John & Florence (Hurd) Kramarik and passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Jesse Scott & Frank Kramarik and sisters Margaret Chace, Pauline Bentley and Rhoda Scott. Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years Geraldine Malin Kramarik; children Robert John Kramarik Jr (Julie), Frank Kramarik (Amy), Lori Kubler all of Elmira; grandchildren Frank Kramarik-Luth of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Kimberly (Doug) Haskins of Elmira, Bobby (Sara) Kramarik III of Elmira, Jennifer (Jody) Johnson of Elmira, Matthew (Teri) Kramarik of Waldorf, MD, Kristen Kramarik of Elmira, Melissa Kramarik of Elmira and Kelly Kramarik of Denver, Co; sister-in-law, Patricia Scott of Lillington NC along with several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bob was the founder of ABQ Home Improvements Company in Elmira. He grew up in Rexville, NY; was passionate about hunting and fishing and spending time at the Rexville Mansion and was an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Lakewood Sportsmen Club, the last of The Jolly Boys! Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, May 25th from 4 to 7 pm. Prayers will be offered there on Saturday, May 26th at 9:15, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary's Church. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
