Obituary of Patricia Swasta

SWASTA, Patricia "Booger" Age 74 of Elmira, NY. She was born January 25, 1942 in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Floyd and Kathryn (Spack) Young and passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016 unexpectedly at home. She was predeceased by her husband James in 2013 and sister Connie Baxter in 2011. She is survived by her daughters Julie Hicks of Elmira and Janet Stansfield of Horseheads; grandchildren Ashley Hicks, Thomas Hicks, James (Rebekah West) Hicks all of Elmira and Jessica Stansfield of Horseheads; great grandchildren Bentley Hicks, Luke Hicks and Alivia West; brother-in-law Gerry Baxter of Canton, PA along with several nieces and nephews. Pat retired from the Elmira City School District and was a member of F.O.E. 941 in Elmira. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Thursday, June 9th from 4 to 7 pm. Her funeral service will be held there on Friday, June 10th at 11 am. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
