Obituary of Heather C. Berich

Heather C. Berich passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2019 in her home. Heather was born on March 18, 1982 in Pennsylvania, but her roots and family were based solely in Elmira NY. She was a motivated mother who received her nursing degree from Corning Community College. Heather worked tirelessly to ensure her children were equipped with everything to be successful throughout their life. An avid cook, she often fed the neighborhood to create the community is family atmosphere that she loved, treating all her children's friends as if they were her own. She will be dearly missed for her infectious smile and permanently upbeat attitude. Heather was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as second mother to many of her children's friends. Many in the community knew her simply as one of the great basketball Mom's. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went and will be remembered by the community forever. She is the loving & devoted mother of Anfernee Halloway, Jerry & Tyre Daniel. She is survived by her mother Dorothy Jackson, father Lawrence Berich, her siblings Richard Bennett, Crystal Berich, Joe Berich and a host of other extended family and close friends. Services for Heather will take place Thursday, December 12th at 1 pm at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
