Obituary of Stephen J. Parsons

Stephen J. Parsons Jr. Age 44, was born August 14, 1979 in Elmira, NY and passed away very unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. He is survived by his loving parents, mother, Cathleen Phalen; father, Stephen (Deborah) Parsons Sr.; sister, Jessica Parsons; brother, Jason Parsons; daughter, Haley Cortland; son, Jaiden Sherman. Many of the various hobbies Stephen enjoyed are as follows: fishing, gaming, building computers and computer hardware, hiking the outdoors, and music. He was passionate about high quality sound systems, a true audiophile. He also enjoyed Marvel movies and would watch them on repeat and get excited for all the new ones. He loved his motorcycle and riding. He gave great care to his dogs, fish and aquariums. Above all, his greatest joy came from helping others. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm for a Celebration of Life for Stephen.
