Obituary of Edith Mae Cain

CAIN, Edith "Polly" (Bunnell) Age 91 of Elmira, NY. She was born May 19, 1929 in Elmira Heights, daughter of the late George Bailey and Emma Kinner and passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at home. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Ann Savino. Polly is survived by her children Tom & Debra Cieri of PA, Carmen Schilling, Roxanne Disbrow & George Simon, Ed & Sue Bunnell, Lori & Patrick Jordan, Kirby & Michelle Bunnell all of Elmira; 23 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 12 great, great grandchildren; friends Lorretta Loomis and Patricia Edmister. Polly was a long-time barmaid at her sister, Ann Savino's tavern "The Pub" at Bulkhead and retired as a home health aide. Family and friends are invited to her graveside service on Friday, September 11th at 11 am in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Jerusalem Hill, Elmira. While daughter and granddaughter Lori & Amanda Jordan were her caregivers, Polly's family thanks visiting nurse Chris Odum, Joy Rumsey and Dr. Mauri and staff.
