Obituary of Charles A. Griffin

GRIFFIN, Charles A. Age 55 of Elmira Heights, NY. He was born March 18, 1965 in Syracuse, NY, the son of Ronald and Elaine (Ammerman) Griffin and passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Corning Hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife Christina; daughters Alyssa (Jonathan Serow) Griffin of Elmira Heights, Jessica and Caitlin Griffin both of Rhode Island; stepchildren Joseph (Stacee) DePrimo, Janet (Orlando) DePrimo and Justin (Nikki) DePrimo; parents Ronald and Elaine Griffin; brother Lennie (Katherine) Griffin; sister Ramona Griffin all of Elmira Heights. Charles was co-owner of Chemung Heating & Building Co with his brother Lennie. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, February 16th from 11 am to 1 pm. His funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment, with military honors, will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery.
