Obituary of Leon P. Sinsabaugh, Sr.

Leon P. "Bud" Sinsabaugh Sr. Age 59 of Elmira, NY. He was born July 18, 1962 in Elmira, the son of Robert A. and Phyllis (Shannon) Sinsabaugh, Sr. and passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 at home. He was predeceased by his wife Cheryl and father Robert. Bud is survived by his mother Phyllis Sinsabaugh; children Leon Sinsabaugh, Jr. and Shannon Bryant along with several grandchildren; former wife Tichia Herbert; brothers Robert and Charles; sisters Terry Shelly and Gerri Clauss along with several nieces and nephews; and uncle Clarence (Bucky) Fleming. Bud retired from Hesselson's Archery Shop. He owned Bud's Archery and was an avid sportsman. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, September 11th from 9:30 to 10 am. His funeral service will begin at 10 am. Pastor Joel Traylor will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
