Obituary of Shirley D. Edmundson

Shirley D. Edmundson Age 84 of Elmira Heights, NY. She was born May 7, 1937 in Bath, NY, daughter of the late Aley and Teresa (Heater) White and passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 unexpectedly at home. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband William Edmundson; long time companion John Takas and brothers Steve and Sonny White. Shirley is survived by her daughters Cathy (Brad) Rice of Horseheads, Janette (Steve) Hucul of Horseheads and Lisa (Jeff) Genung of Austin, TX; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters Pat Strader of Horseheads, Nancy Lewis of VA and Vickie Gush of Pine Valley along with several nieces and nephews. Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother. She was employed with A&P Foods until its closing. She then was a bartender at the Ukrainian Club. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
