Obituary of Ann Johnson

JOHNSON, Ann Marie Age 81 of Elmira, NY. She was born May 21, 1940 in Elmira, daughter of the late Ward P. and Anna (Pettit) Wickham and passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after a brief illness. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her longtime companion Jim Confer; son-in-law Patrick Hannan; sister and brother-in-law Barbara & Charles Reinhart. She is survived by her children LuAnn Hannan of Elmira, Butch Johnson & Jennifer Lavender of Elmira, Lisa & Bill Carnegie of Pine City; grandchildren Dominique Ann Carnegie & Louie Cafarella of Hamburg, NY and Erica Rose Carnegie of Pine City; sister and brother-in-law Alyce & Joe Michalko of Elmira; brother Joe Wickham of Elmira along with a host of nieces and nephews. Ann retired from Thomas & Betts after 20 years. She dedicated her life to her family and friends, showing her love through her cooking. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Sunday, December 12th from 2 to 4 pm. Her memorial service will follow at 4 pm. Deacon George Welch will officiate.
