Obituary of Carolyn L. Harper

HARPER, Carolyn L. Age 78 of Elmira, NY. She was born August 19, 1943 in Macon, GA, daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (Slocum) Harper and passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022. She is survived by her children DeBron Harper of Elmira, Dana Blandford of Atlanta, GA, Michael Harper of Elmira and Nicole Harper of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren DeBron Harper II, Cameron, JaBron and Eniola Dumas, Michael Harper, Jr., Jennifer Jones, Elijah Harper, Sr., Marquise and Aaliyah Harper, Jamir Hannah, Jahvez Mitchell, Amari Harper-Knox and Brooke Holt; 10 great grandchildren; siblings Delores Washington of Elmira, Betty Herd of Detroit, MI, Barbara Dodson of Elmira, Joyce Harper of Hinesville, GA, Clarence Harper III, David Harper and Richard Eugene Harper all of Elmira along with a host of nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit Faith Temple Community Church, 765 Harper St. Elmira on Friday, January 21st from 11 am to 12. Her funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
