Obituary of Edgar D. Mills

MILLS, Edgar D. "Beanie" Age 82 of Elmira, NY. He was born July 8, 1939 in Endicott, NY, the son of Dana Everett and Ina Marie (VanCise) Mills and passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Edgar was predeceased by his father Dana Everett Mills and brother Richard Dana Mills. He is survived by his mother Ina Mills of Sayre, PA; siblings Linda Osman of Elmira, Donna (Robert) Baker of Horseheads, Nancy Tyler of Beloit, WI, Sally (Terry) Coleman of Anderson, SC and Leonard (Julie) Mills of Endicott, NY along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews. Edgar was an avid walker. He loved Christmas. It was his favorite holiday. He couldn't wait to get his tree (he always had a real one). He also enjoyed playing Kings on the Corner. He was our rooster at the hen cackling party, where we would get together with our cousins and play cards. Edgar was a wonderful brother and he will be dearly missed. Gone but not forgotten. We love you Beanie.
