Obituary of Catherine Corsi-Maisonet

Catherine A. "Cathy" Corsi-Maisonet Age 68, was born November 5, 1953 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Francis L. and Jane (Templar) Corsi Sr., passed away peacefully on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Elderwood Nursing Home Hornell, NY. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wilfredo Maisonet; cousin, Peter Duchy; along with several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her brother, Francis L. (JoAnn) Corsi Jr.; nephew, Matt (Kristin) Corsi with their daughter, Emilia; niece, Kristin (Alan) Walczak; special cousins, Adam Corsi and son, Cameron Smith; Mark (Gina) Corsi; Marie Duchy; Rosemarie (Robert) Corsi-Bennett and Nick Corsi and Meghan Edwards with their children, Sophia, Gracie and Caleb; along with other cousins and friends. She is also survived by uncles, Carmen (Mary Ann) Corsi; John (Mary Margaret) Corsi. Cathy was an avid NY Yankee fan and loved her Pepsi. She retired from the Chemung County Nursing Facility as an Aide. At her request there will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to her prayer service on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Walter J. Kent Funeral Home 858 Lake Street at Washington Ave. Elmira, NY. Reverend Richard Farrell will officiate. Burial St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery next to her beloved husband Wilfredo at the convenience of the family. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Elderwood of Hornell for their wonderful love and care given to Cathy.
