CHALK, Beverly E.

Age 86 of Elmira, NY. She was born September 8, 1926 in Ithaca, daughter of the late Frank Thomas and Elsie Auble and passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband of more than 60 years, Daniel A. Chalk, Sr., sisters Rita Berlin, Juanita Noonan, Arlene Roy and loving aunt, Clara Rolfe. She is survived by her children, David A. (Sue) Chalk, Michelle Lepere, Kathleen Chalk-Johnson (John), Daniel A. Chalk, Jr., Donald A. Chalk, Damon A. (Rodie) Chalk, and Nancy Chalk-Griffin; 16 grandchildren, 16 ½ great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Bennett; cousins Marion Auble and Norma Rolfe; dear friends Brian Griffin, Jeanette Zimmer and Carmela Waters; several nieces and nephews, and her faithful pets, Bella, Selena and Petey, and any four legged friend who visited her home. Beverly was a wonderful and loving wife and mother. She spent her lifetime caring for others including 24 years as an EPC Family Care Provider. The family is accepting visitors at the family home today; Tuesday, August 20th from 2-4pm. Interment will take place in Woodlawn National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
