Obituary of Olga Kremel

Olga "Sue" Kremel Age 72, of Horseheads, NY. She was born in France on January 9th 1950, the daughter of the late Peter and Anastasia (Naska) Kremel, and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 6th 2022. In addition to her parents, Sue was predeceased by her brothers Michael, and Paul; along with her uncles John Hocul, and Nicholas (Martha) Magera. She is survived by her son Jason Holmes; sister Hele Faulkner; her dear nieces; special friendsin, Penny Pelton, Linda Knapp, Mary Stephanie Allegretto, Mary Romanyshyn, and Anna Tepluch; and her future daughter-in-law Jessica Schwartz. Sue was a lifelong communicant of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church. After Receiving her Nursing Certification from Elmira College, she worked for St. Joseph's Hospital for 47 years until her retirement. Her passions and focus in life were her faith and her family Family and friends are invited to visit the Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., in Elmira on Monday, April 11th 2022 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Panikhyda will be held there at 6 pm. Prayers will be offered there on Tuesday, April 12th at 9:30 am. Her funeral service will follow in in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 410 E McCanns Blvd, Elmira Heights, NY 14903. Rev Fr. Teodor Czabala, Celebrant. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Passarelli, and Dr. Kaffenbarger for the care and comfort they provided.
