Obituary of Jesse L Kemmer Sr.

Jesse L. Kemmer Sr. Age 40, was born December, 1, 1981 in Elmira, the son of Raymond and Julie (Lewis) Kemmer Sr., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 8, 2022. He was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda L. Kemmer; maternal grandparents, John and Mitsuko Lewis; paternal grandfather, Robert G. Kemmer. He is survived by his loving children, Jesse L. Kemmer Jr., Alexis Kemmer, Logan Kemmer, Kaleigh Kemmer, Derek Kemmer, Macie Sempler, JoAnnea Smith and Braydon Sempler; beloved parents, Raymond and Julie; siblings, Raymond (Frank Allington) Kemmer Jr., Kimeko Kemmer, Christopher (Stephanie) Kemmer and Kyle (Kyle) Kemmer all of Elmira, NY; grandmother, Patricia J. Wood also of Elmira, NY; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Jesse was an avid fisherman, loved racing, was a collector, a huge Dallas Cowboys football fan, enjoyed basketball and video games. Jesse's pride and joy was his children and he enjoyed spending time with all of his children. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. His funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Reverend Donald Paul Jr. will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
