Obituary of David M. Kirwan

Kirwan, David M. Age 57 of Elmira, NY. He was born July 31, 1964 in Elmira, the son of James and Nancy (Depew) Kirwan and passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at home after an extended illness. He was predeceased by his father James and wife Linda. David is survived by his mother Nancy Sindelar of Elmira; sisters Wendy (Edward) Oksinski of Elmira and Amy Flaherty of Horseheads; nephew Ryan Oksinski of Ballston Spa, NY; niece Cheryl Beam of Elmira. David had a long work history including Wireworks, Elmira and Corning Country Clubs and Moretti's. He was an avid NY Giants fan. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave. on Monday, April 25th from 4 to 6 pm. His family wishes to thank all of the service agencies that played a role in assisting David and helped him stay in his own home. A special thank you to David's service coordinator, George Weiss, who worked tirelessly in helping David and his family and always went above and beyond. To David's caregiver, Rebecca Sardo, who took great care of David and his home. To David's best friend, Tony Ferraro, who helped take excellent care of his "little buddy". David was lucky to have such a great friend. We couldn't have done it without you Tony.
