Obituary of John F. Gardner

John F. Gardner Age 82, of Elmira, NY was born Thursday, March 21, 1940 in Elmira, the son of the late Frederick and Margaret (Reily) Gardner. John passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2022 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He is survived by his brother, Richard Gardner MD of Massachusetts; loving children, Jacalyn Gardner of Elmira, NY; Christopher Mark "Butch" Gardner of Lisbon, NY; Christine (Donald) Stansfield of Zephyrhills, FL; Julie (Ronald) Little of Chemung, NY; along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. John retired from Anchor Glass after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially when he was hunting, fishing and ice fishing, and was a member of the Elmira Elks Lodge # 62. At his request there will be no services.
