Obituary of Ronald Griffin

Griffin, Ronald E. Age 74 of Elmira Heights, NY. He was born May 19, 1948 in Oswego, NY, son of the late Walter and Grace (Russell) Griffin and passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Charles in 2021; sisters Ramona and Susan; brothers Stanley and Steve. Ron is survived by his wife Elaine; son and daughter-in-law Lennie & Katherine Griffin; daughter Ramona Griffin; daughter-in-law Christina Griffin all of Elmira Heights, 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers Phillip, Peter and Butch; sisters Sandra, Molly, Martha, Marry Anne, Geri, Pam and Shirley along with several nieces and nephews. Ron retired from Ferrario Ford. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during Vietnam. He was a member of the Elmira Height American Legion and VFW. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Monday, July 18th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. His funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment, with military honors, will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery.
