Obituary of Rose Magno

Magno, Rose Age 89 of Elmira, NY. She was born September 7, 1932 in Auburn, NY, daughter of the late Allessandro and Angela (Milano) Perriello and passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Furino and Louis Perriello. Rose is survived by her husband of 65 years, Thomas; children and their spouses Angela & Douglas Learn of Odessa, NY, Thomas & Karin of Staunton, VA, Michael & Patricia of New Hartford, NY, Ronald & Kari of Coconut Creek, FL; grandchildren Christopher (Elizabeth) and Barbara Learn, Patrick (Lindsey) Magno, John (Jessica) Barnhill, Leone Sky, Jessie, Micaela and Maximiliano Magno and Carly Magno; great grandchildren Addison and Olivia Learn, Amelia and Henry Magno along with several nieces and nephews. Rose was a communicant of the former St. Anthony's Church and a member of their Sacred Heart Society. She retired from the NYS Department of Correctional Services; was an avid bingo player and was a Cub Scout Den Mother. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Thursday, July 21st from 4 to 7 pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 22nd at 10 am in St. Patrick's Church. Interment will take place in Woodlawn National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
