Obituary of Diane G. Spaziani

age 62, of Erin, NY passed away at home with her loving and supporting husband, David by her side on Wednesday, July 20th, 2022. She was born March 4th, 1960 in Bay Shore, NY, the daughter of the late William and Delores (Demont) Townson. Diane was also predeceased by her sister, Janet and her nephew, Douglas Taylor. Diane was a hard worker her whole life. For many years, she managed a local Dunkin Donuts and most recently worked for the Horseheads School District in the Cafeteria at Ridge Road Elementary School. She loved her family very much and treasured every moment spent with them. Diane is survived by her loving and devoted husband, David L. Spaziani; daughter, Michele (Marcus) Paul; 7 grandchildren; Michael (Tiffany) Townson, Jake (Lily) Griffin, Lexie Griffin, Mya Paul, Gianna Paul, Bella Paul and Marcus Paul, Jr.; great grandchildren, Layla Townson and Jaxson Watson; brothers, William Townson, Robert (Patricia) Townson, Sr., and John (Kim) Townson; sisters, Linda Townson, Jane (Ken) Pichette, Alison (Rob) Miller, Gloria (Scott) Lalonde, and Grace (Richard) Rizzi; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Upon Diane's request, there will be no services. The family will hold a celebration of life at a future date. Diane had a love for others that was genuine, sincere and often misunderstood. She recently rededicated her life to the Lord and chose her public affirmation by baptism just a week before her death. Walter Kent Funeral Home is assisting the Spaziani family.
