Obituary of Joe Charles Squires

Squires, Joe Charles Age 51 of Lowman, NY. He was born April 22, 1971 in Elmira, NY, the son of William Squires and Joyce Scott, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the Steuben Center after an extended illness. Joe was predeceased by his father William and siblings William, Tammy and Milo Squires, Patricia Peters, Robert, Richard and Roger Squires and William Squires III. He is survived by his son Kailob Salisbury; stepchildren Kaili and Kamryn Salisbury all of Elmira; mother Joyce Hackett of Lowman; siblings Sue Squires of Elmira, John R. Squires of Pine City, Tina Squires of Ridgebury, PA, Fonda Husted of SC and Bobby Kruger of NC; several nieces and nephews including special niece Cricket of Elmira; best friend Rico Caruso of Corning and his "other son", his mini pinscher Kobe. Joe was a selfemployed plumber. He also worked at Rico's Pizza. He loved food and cooking, working with his son and watching war movies. His favorite thing to do was traveling – he was never sitting still.
