Obituary of Ross N. Smith

Of Elmira, NY Age 70, was born May 28, 1952 in Elmira, the son of the late Colonel K. T. and Mary Welles (Mooers) Smith. Ross passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at home. He is survived by his loving children: Kyle T. Smith, Emily Welles Shappee, Perrin R. Smith and Melony Butler; beloved siblings: Allen "Denny" (Diane Janowski) Smith, Robin (John) Moulton; his canine companion, "Fat Bob". Ross received his Bachelor in Social Work at Mansfield University. He went on to work at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center as a Drug and Alcohol Adviser. Ross loved canoeing, kayaking, carpentry and especially enjoyed making furniture. At his request there will be no services.
