Obituary of Donald W. Powers

Donald W. Powers Age 73 of Elmira, NY. He was born December 14, 1948 in Troy, PA, son of the late Raymond and Leona (Hunt) Powers and passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers George & Robert and sister Leona DeHaas. Don is survived by his loving companion of 51 years, Jackie Ford; children Darci (Eldon) Nichols of Breesport and James (Lana) Onorato of OK; grandchildren Jessica Nichols of Elmira, Donald (Lindsay) Nichols of Pine City, Justin (Audrey) Nichols of Elmira, Matthew (Kelley) Nichols of Elmira, Jaymz Onorato and Frost Morris both of OK; sisters Dretta Durgin of Pine City and MaryAnn (Robert) Harrison of Troy, PA; brother John Powers of FL along with several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Don loved spending time with special friends/family, Debbie, Ronnie and Bonnie. A Celebration of Don's Life will take place on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 12 noon at Brand Park, Maple Avenue Elmira.
