CRUZ, Jose Age 66 of Elmira, NY, formerly of New York City. He was born October 8, 1946 in San German Puerto Rico, son of the late Euginio and Providencia (Velez) Cruz and passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Elcor Health Services, Horseheads, NY. He was predeceased by his wife Carmen Lydia Ayala; 3 brothers and 2 sisters in Puerto Rico and is survived by his daughters Carmen Lydia Cruz of Staten Island, NY, Migdalia Cruz of MI, Miriannette Cruz of Elmira, NY and Mayra Cruz of Bronx, NY; grandchildren Andy and Allen Pratts, Ciovanni Cruz, Juan and Eddie Carasquillo, Luis Garcia, Jr., Sabrina Garcia, John Rosario, Felicia Rodriquez, Gwendolyn, Janessa and Daphine Ruiz; great grandchildren Kenneth Garcia and Serenity Ruiz. Jose was formerly a cab driver in New York City. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He had a bubbly personality and will be dearly missed by all.
