Obituary of Terry L. Adams

Terry Lee Adams (Black) was born February 4th 1959 in Elmira NY, she was the daughter of the late Richard Black and Emily (Landmesser ) Wellman . Terry passed away Monday October 10th 2022. She is survived by her children Carolyn D. Adams, Anthony Bohart Diaz, Robert Bohart and Nicole Bohart. Grandchildren Harmony Jackson, AnjMarie Hooks, Maleia & Jalyssa Bohart Diaz. Stepchildren Alisha, Ashley and Tysuan Owens and her life partner Lester (LB) Owens. Her five siblings Richard Black of Sayre, PA., Allen Black of Elmira Heights, NY, William Black of Elmira, NY and Jeanette Smith of Elmira, NY. Dorothy Kaliati of Kalamazoo, MI. Along with many nieces and nephews. Terry lived a life of services she was always finding ways to help a person in need without them even asking, she enjoyed cooking and baking, spending time with her grandkids. Terry truly was the matriarch of the family, she was loved and appreciated dearly. Family and friends are invited to visit Shabach Tabernacle Church, 1133 Lake Street, Elmira, on Thursday October 20th from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. Her funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
