Obituary of Vincent James Burvee

Vincent James Burvee Age 66 of Elmira, NY. He was born October 29, 1955 in Elmira, son of the late George Burvee and Rose Sabatini, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife Melissa; Step Mother Marion and siblings Rose (Rich) Shulman, Georgette (Vickie) Burvee, Nick (Sandy) Burvee, Lisa (Mark) Benedict, Bob (Dianne) Brimmer, Gene (Barbara) Brimmer, Brian Brimmer, Michelle (Rick) Cook, Lisa (Tim) Zumwalt, Cindy (Al) Held, Rhonda (Paul) Thomas, Wayne Marsh and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. Vincent was retired from NYS after 26 years of service. He was a well known Bass player around the area having played in many bands. There's nothing he loved more than Melissa, Music, Hunting and Fishing. It was Vinnie's wish that we celebrate him. His wishes will be granted. Vinnie's family will receive family and friends for his Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at the Big Flats American Legion, 45 Olcott Road S., Big Flats 12pm to 4pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon, followed by a time of sharing for family and friends.
