Obituary of Mark R. Lisi

Mark Raymond Lisi Age 59 of Elmira, NY. He was born December 6, 1963 in Elmira, son of the late Francis and Sharon (Corbett) Lisi. Mark passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his son Nicholas F. Lisi; brothers Steven and James (Penny) Lisi; Aunts & Uncles Daniel E. & Patricia Corbett, Donna Corbett, Barbara J. Corbett, and Anna Marie (Lisi) Jim Griffin and along with nieces, Giovanna, Olivia & Marissa Jo Lisi and several cousins. Also longtime friends Brenda and Joe Thomas, Matt Moulton and John Bolinger, who were able to be at Marks' side for the last several weeks. Mark is predeceased by his aunts & uncles Anthony & Carol (Pedit)Lisi, Joseph & Teresa (Lisi) Marzari, James R. Corbett. Mark graduated from Dryden Junior Senior High School in 1982 and attended his 40th Class Reunion in June. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church; employed with Pepsi Bottling Group in Cortland and Knoxville, TN for a total of 20 years, Modern Design Aquascaping and for the last 10 years at the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. He enjoyed Alabama football, Syracuse basketball, NY Giants, NY Mets, NASCAR. He loved spending time with friends and family; especially this past September visiting his brother Steve in Atlanta for a week. Mark most especially ENJOYED watching Nick grow and play sports with his friends, no matter the weather conditions or the distance to travel to an official game. He was always the first one to help those in need in the community no matter the situation. Family and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, February 4th at 10:30 am in St. Patrick's Church, 604 Park Place, Elmira. Rev. Richard Farrell, Celebrant.
