Obituary of Dean E. Hanville

Dean E. Hanville Age 76 of Elmira, NY. He was born November 26, 1946 in Elmira, son of the late Edward and Olive (Meeks) Hanville and passed away Monday, January 23, 2023. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Warren Hanville and granddaughter Chelsea Smith. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce; children and their spouses Duane E. & Mary Hanville of Elmira, JoAnn & Bob Butler of Maricopa, AZ; grandchildren Justin (Heather) Smith, Charles Worden, Dj Hanville and Rose Hanville; several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Edward (Kathy) Hanville of Elmira; 3 bonus daughters Karen Gordon, Shelby Todd and Rachel Keller all of Elmira; his Girl Friday Carol Maggee (Delos). Dean retired from Watkins Glen International, as the keeper of Gate 2, after 37 years of service. He enjoyed going to casinos and trips to Arizona to visit his daughter. Family and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 28th at 2 pm at the Salvation Army, 414 Lake St., Elmira.
