Arlene F. Ballings (Nanny) Of Chemung, NY Was born on January 12, 1939 in Montour Falls, NY, daughter of the late Clarence John and Elva (Dean) Terry and passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023, surrounded by her family, at the age of 84. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Robert Terry, Sr. and Roy "Jack" Terry; her sister, Ruby Humphrey. She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Worden of Chemung, NY; her grandchildren, Danielle (Eric) Folk of Horseheads, NY; Tiffany (Rick Grant) Worden of Chemung, NY; her great-grandchildren, Delaney Clark, Brayden Payne, Logan Folk, Gage Payne, Summer Folk, Lily Worden; sisters, Sylvia Bowers and Carol Smith; along with several nieces and nephews. Arlene retired from Purolator Products. She was an active member of Chemung Christian Fellowship Church and was a truly devoted Christian. She was full of faith, full of grace, and full of love. Her smile was as contagious as the sun's warmth. She enjoyed starlight mints and spice drops every outing, car ride, and relaxing day. She loved to whistle and tap her feet to her favorite songs. She loved to garden and filled her sidewalks, home and backyard with as many tulips and lilies that could fit. She was a fabulous dancer, and a phenomenal bowler. She was stylish, elegant, and beautiful inside and out. She loved to bake and made the best apple, pumpkin, blueberry, rhubarb, and pecan pies; the best tarts and molasses cookies. She loved her animals and surely has greeted all her babies in heaven. Her kitties, Samantha, Tabby, and Smokey, and her doggies, Kelly, Brandy, Precious, and Baby (Savanah). Arlene (Nanny) lives on in heaven with the Lord, smiling, laughing, dancing and baking all her days away. She truly loves Jesus and Her Family most of all. Per Arlene's request there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined by the family. Those who wish, may make memorial donations to Millerton Wesleyan Church 5174 Main St., Millerton, PA 16936 and/or Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church, 13255 Berwick Turnpike, Gillett, PA 16925. We ask this as Arlene and her family have a personal and adoring relationship with Reverend Barriger, who started Millerton Wesleyan and later moved on to Bentley Creek Wesleyan.
