Obituary of Marion L. Justic

JUSTIC Marion Schusler age 98, a long time resident of Elmira, passed away Tuesday October 29, 2013 at 3 AM, at her daughter's home in Waipahu, HI. Born on May 20, 1915, Marion was the daughter of Joseph & Minnie Kakritz Schusler. She was married to John (Duke) Justic and mourned his loss early in their retirement,1980. Marion graduated from Buffalo University, as a Registered Nurse and worked many years with Dr. Christastie in Elmira. In her retirement she spent summers in NH with her son, grandson, granddaughter and 5 great grandchildren, and her winters in HI with her daughter and many friends she made while there. She was predeceased by brothers Edward Schusler, Gerald (Buck) Schusler, Raymond Schusler, sisters Florence Schusler, Alice Keough, Eileen Halm, Geraldine Platou, Helen Baldwin, Dorothy Schusler; daughter-in-law Sharon Kennedy Justic, and her loving husband Duke. Survivors include daughter Merna of Waipahu, HI; son Terry Lee of Manchester, NH, his son Terry Eric and wife Carol and their two daughters of Bedford, NH; Terry Lee's daughter Shannon and husband Jason Nivers and their three sons of Manchester and Concord, NH. Others survivors include Marion's brother-in-law Clifford Halm and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake Street at Washington Ave., Elmira on Monday, November 11th from 10 to 11:30 am. Her funeral service will follow at 11:30. Rev. Richard Hubbard will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will be Tuesday, November 12th at 9 am in Woodlawn Cemetery.
