Obituary of Barbara Jean Bennett

BENNETT, Barbara Jean Age 66 of Elmira, NY. She was born March 25, 1947 in Sayre, PA, daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Claypool) Bennett and passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Hollis Head in 1995 and is survived by her sons Roger and Christopher Campbell; grandchildren Adaras and Marina Campbell, Victor Smith; nieces Val and Vickie Bennett; lifelong friend June McDowell; special friends Jennifer Smith and Carmen Pellot. Family and friends are invited to her memorial service on Monday, November 18th at 12 noon at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to help defray final expenses.
