Obituary of Jean M. Agronick

Agronick, Jean Margaret Johnson, 93, of Pine City, NY, formerly of Jupiter, FL, passed on April 26 at Elderwood in Waverly. She was born in Binghamton, NY, June 11, 1929, the daughter of the late Henry W. and Gladys R. Pritchard Johnson and wife of the late Calvin Agronick. She was also predeceased by her brothers Duane W. Johnson and Lowell L. Johnson. She is survived by her loving brother and wife, Richard (Theo) Johnson of Elmira; beloved daughters Linda Quattrini of Saratoga Springs, NY and Rory (Jack) Meck of Pine City. Jean was very proud of her grandchildren- Tod (Marleni) of Jupiter, and Kristen (Daren Monroe) of Saratoga Springs not to forget her "pawfect" granddog, "Maggie May." She always had a huge smile when talking about her great grandchildren Nick (Mar) of Malta, NY and Alyssa of Jupiter. Aunt Jean never missed an opportunity to ask about her nieces and their families- Andi, Shelli, Toni and Judy of Elmira; nephew Michael in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. And she often reminisced about her late nephew David Johnson. She truly leaves us with many loving and fun memories. She brought life to the saying "Live" Love" and "Laugh". Family and friends are invited to share their memories on Thursday, May 4th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira. A brief memorial service will begin at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Chenango Valley Cemetery, Hillcrest, Binghamton, NY
