Obituary of Edwina Sue Degarmo

In loving memory of Edwina Sue Degarmo Of Elmira, NY Age 63, died Thursday, April 27, 2023 at home. She was born April 18, 1960 in Elmira, NY, a daughter of the late Edward Butler and Joyce Fiore. She is also predeceased by son, Jon Paul Degarmo, and sister, Connie Jo Coykendall. Edwina is survived by partner, Robert Heist of Elmira, NY; two daughters, Melony Butler of Elkland, PA, and Jessica (Garet) Mosher of Tioga, PA; sister, Cindy Poorman of Elmira, NY; along with several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Edwina was an employee for 25 years of Elmira College in Elmira, NY. She enjoyed spending time at home with her cats and watching Lifetime Movie Network. Family and friends are invited to the American Legion, 316 Lake Street, Elmira, NY, on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. for a celebration of life. "In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses." Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the Degarmo family.
