John H. Davidson

Age 82 of Elmira, NY. He was born December 19, 1940 in Waverly, NY, son of the late Frederick and Cecilia (Burrows) Davidson and passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023 at home. He is survived by his daughter Janet Freeman of Elmira; 2 other daughters; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister Donna Gordy of Horseheads; brother Larry Johnston of Elmira Heights along with several nieces and nephews. John retired from Trayer Products. He was a veteran of the U.S., Army serving during Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion Post 443 Elmira. Family and friends are invited to his memorial service on Tuesday, June 6th at 10 am at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St., Elmira. Committal prayers, with military honors, will follow in Woodlawn National Cemetery.
