Obituary of Sherri Bloom

Of Elmira, NY Was born June 21, 1959 in Monticello, NY the daughter of Ralph L. and Ann (Zagozewski) Bloom; passed away very unexpectedly on Friday, June 23, 2023 at the age of 64. Her mother, Ann and step-mother, Norma preceded her in death. Sherri leaves to cherish her memory her loving father, Ralph of Elmira, NY; beloved sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Hal Fitzsimmons of Corning , NY; along with several cousins and a host of friends. We must mention Sherri's feline companions which she loved very much and treated them as her "children." She was employed by many local places in the area, most recently, Pyramid Brokerage in Corning , NY where she was a marketing and administrative assistant. Sherri was an avid sports fan to say the very least and was a diehard New York Mets baseball fan and a New York Giants football fan. Family and friends are invited to her graveside service on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11:00 am in Maple Grove Cemetery 715 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY. Reverend Scott Kubinski will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Sherri's name may be directed to the Chemung County Humane Society & SPCA 2435 NY 352 Elmira. NY 14903 or any other local animal shelter. Walter J.
