Obituary of Marcus L. Allen

Marcus L. Allen Jr. DOB 6/26/1952 Marcus was the son of Marcus Sr. and Edith Platt Allen who predeceased him. Mark was also predeceased by his sister Elizabeth and his wife Phyllis Boughton Allen. He is survived by his sister Marcia Allen of Sebring, Fl., his nephew Daniel Starr, of North Carolina, Phyllis's daughter, Denise Hepfner, of Zephyrhills, FL and his companion of 13 years, Laura Ellis of Barton NY, with whom he resided, his niece, Vicki (Dan) Chapman of Horseheads, and his nephews, Mark (Dawn) Boughton of Pine City NY, and Michael (Denise) Boughton of Zeblion, NC and many cousins. Mark graduated from Odessa Montour High School in 1970. After graduating he joined the United States Air Force. After his military service, he was a career truck driver, retiring from Lopke Trucking in Appalachian, NY. He was a member of the Blue Ridge Hunting Club and enjoyed the time he spent there with his hunting buddys. It was Mark's wishes to have no calling hours with a private graveside service for his immediate family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a date and time to be announced in August 2023.
