Obituary of William Robert Halstead

William Robert "Billy", "Will" Halstead Born on July 1st, 1976 to Gloria Gene Kutteroff and Abraham William Halstead of Geneva, NY. William was called home on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the young age 47. William was predeceased by both of his parents, step-father, James Travers, maternal grandmother, Gladys Kutteroff, paternal grandparents, Elizabeth Spencer and Robert Burns. He was also preceded in death by his big sister, Gloria Jean Halstead who sadly passed at the age of three. It is with great sadness William leaves behind his five children and three grandchildren. Christina Stuart (Hunter and Grayson), Maranda Halstead (Myli'anna), Gavin Halstead, Alexandria Halstead and Jace Halstead. William is also survived by his sister, Yvonne Golotty. Stephanie Pronti, the love of his life for 22years and mother of his children, will carry his love amongst family and friends. William was an avid outdoorsman. He took great pride in teaching his abundance of nieces and nephews how to ride bikes, fish, camp and simply have fun. William's love for music, concerts and festivals was like no other. William worked for Jerry Drake Moving Company as a foreman for many years. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Matthews Episcopal Church located at 408 South Main Street Horseheads, NY 14845 on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 PM. Family and friends are encouraged to join, share memories and have a good time the way William would want.
