Age 78, of Elmira, NY was born June 16, 1945 in Savona, NY the daughter of the late Leon and Margaret (Hutchison) Clayson, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital SNF on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. Her sister, Lillian Buchanon; son, Gordon Adams; daughter, Margaret Snell; son, James Galpin; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Adams also preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Jason Adams of Sparta, NC; daughter, Christina Adams (Joseph Benjamin) of Elmira, NY; and life long partner, Linda Galpin of Elmira; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, many good friends that became family, and also her church family at the First Baptist Church. A very special thank you to the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital who also became her family. Margaret was previously employed by the following: Totem Taxi, Glider Taxi, Capabilities and Elcor Health Services. Her hobbies included cooking and caring for all of her plants. In accordance with her wishes no services will be held.
