Obituary of Daniel S Resavage

Daniel S. Resavage, Jr. age 72 of Elmira passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 22, 2023. Danny worked for J. H. Cook Painting for 32 years. He enjoyed many good times together with close friends AJ, Mugga, and Joe, golfing, hunting, fishing, and relaxing on the beach. Danny spent many years coaching hockey in Elmira which he loved! He cherished the time spent with his family on the beach and traveling to sporting events to watch his grandchildren. He was very proud of his son, Bryan, and all his son's friends that he coached in hockey for many years. He was married to his wife, Christine, for 51 years. Pre-deceased by his mother, Mary, his brother, John Resavage, sister, Karen Troccia, and his in-laws Gale and Irene Burt. His legacy will live on in his son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Katie Resavage, and his grandchildren Alexis, Chloe, and Bryan Resavage. He loved them all dearly. We will truly miss him and cherish the times we had together. He is also survived by his siblings Mary (Dave) Burdick of Elmira, Joann Bunch and Tom Resavage both of FL. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, October 20th from 5 to 7 pm. His memorial service will follow at 7 pm. Rev. John DeSocio will officiate.
