Robert Edward Regelmann Jr. 2-21-1951 to 09-19-2023

Rob Regelmann, longtime owner of A to Z Rental in Elmira passed away at the age of 72 at Guthrie Corning Hospital. He was born in Teaneck, New Jersey to the late Robert and Muriel Regelmann. The family moved to Horseheads in 1959 and started A to Z in 1966. Rob worked in the business in high school and college until he moved to Arizona and then Colorado after graduating from SUNY Oswego. Later he moved back to the area to take over the business when his mother was ready to retire. It was during his college years that he developed his interest and skill in art, both sculpture and painting. He continued with this hobby for many years, still dabbling a bit after his retirement.

Rob is survived by his sister Nancy James (Jon), nephew Ethan and niece Kelsey. He is also survived by his good friends Tim Spoore, Albert McDonald and Carl McEnroy who were very supportive in recent years as Rob had increasing medical problems.

Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, October 27th from 4 to 6 pm, with a memorial service at 5 pm.
