Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Family. Mr. Erickson as we always referred to him was an amazing man who loved life, to laugh, and was supportive of us as Missionaries. He and his wife have made a huge impact on us and all those who they supported going to school in Honduras.
With our Love,
Michael and Glenda Miller

Condolences to the Erickson Family.
As we progress through life there are special people that bring back special memories.
One of the people on top of my list was Mr. Erickson.
I met him when I was a student and he was the principal at Lenox Ave school in the 1950's.
He would open the classroom door, point at me, and I would follow him to his office. He would ask me to help him count money from the students to purchase "Red Arrow" savings stamps-a student saving program. Other times he would fetch me to help him set up chairs in the gym/auditorium.
As we did these jobs we would talk about many different subjects. He would tell me about the time he worked at American Bridge. He would mention some names that I recognized as my father was the blacksmith there.
The last time I saw him was at the Heights bank. Called me by name, firm handshake, a hug and had time for a nice conversation.
That is the Mr. Erickson I knew and will always remember not only as a school principal but also and more important a friend.

One of the “various” school districts Ken worked for was Horseheads. He was the business manager who had a deep love for manila folders! Ken was a joy to work with. My husband graduated from TAE and had a deep respect for Ken. Rest In Peace Ken. You will be missed. Judy and Vince Kadlec
