Laura A. Lewis

Age 61, of Elmira, NY, unexpectedly passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Laura was born March 24, 1962 in Wellsboro, PA to Patricia (Brown) and the late Mahlon Middaugh. Her beloved husband, Anthony J. Lewis preceded her in death February 15, 2009. She is survived by her loving children: Todd (Jenn) Steinhauer, Mindi Lewis, Amber (Commie) Lewis-Smiley, Stacee (Joseph) Lewis-DePrimo; adored grandchildren: Alyssa, Hailie, Jordan, Robert (Chunker), Camden, Ci'Onna, Skyy and Rylee. Laura enjoyed gambling, playing bingo, spending time with her family, drinking coffee and Pepsi, and talking plenty of nonsense! Per her request there will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life to honor Laura's memory on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Elmwood Avenue Baptist Church 230 Elmwood Avenue Elmira Heights, NY 14903.
