Obituary of Audrey P. Gabrielli

Audrey P. Gabrielli Age 96 of Elmira, NY passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at Absolut Care at Three Rivers. She was born June 15, 1927 in Liverpool, England, daughter of the late Frederick and Constance (Bailey) Prince. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John Gabrielli. Audrey married John in England on December 10, 1949 while he was in the Air Force stationed there. She arrived in the USA in July 1950. She is also predeceased by her son-in-law John (Joe) Waite; sister and brother-in-law Enid and Jim Funck; brothers Peter and Tony Prince; brothers-in-law Manfred Best and Joseph Gabrielli; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Philip and Virginia Alexander. She is survived by her daughter Linda Gabrielli Waite of Horseheads; sisters Linda Prince of England and Barbara Best of Germany; sisters-in-law Pat Prince of England and Jean Gabrielli of PA along with many nieces and nephews in the USA, England and Germany. Audrey retired from F.M. Howell after many years of service. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, January 26th from 12 to 2 pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 27th at 10 am in St. Patrick's Church. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Audrey through donations to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620. Her family extends their appreciation to the staff at Absolut Care Three Rivers and Woodbrook Assisted Living for their care of Audrey the past 5 years.
