Christopher D. Walker Obituary
Age 33, of Elmira Heights, NY; who most recently resided in Williamsport, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. Christopher, "Chris", as he preferred to be called, was born on March 11,1990 in Elmira, NY. He is survived by his loving parents, Shelly Lisk and Arthur Walker of Elmira Heights, NY; girlfriend, Brittany Heck of Williamsport, PA; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his cat "Red Zeppelin."
Although Chris was an only child he was raised closely with his cousins and spent many nights and vacations with them. During his middle school years Chris played football. As he grew older, he enjoyed gaming, skate boarding, bon fires, camping trips and concerts. Chris was a 2010 graduate from Thomas A. Edison High School in Elmira Heights, he also attended GST BOCES at Coopers Campus in Painted Post, NY, and received completion in Auto Mechanics in 2009. Prior to his cancer diagnosis, Chris worked as a factory worker and held several positions. Chris was a friend to all, a free spirit that lived and died by the philosophy "good vibes only." During his courageous battle with cancer Christopher did not want sympathy, he would tell people "Good vibes only."
Please feel free to share stories and photos of Chris as his family would love to hear those words. Per Chris' request there will be no visitation. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting his family.
