Obituary of Daniel G. Waite Jr.

Daniel G. Waite, Jr. Age 68 of Elmira Heights, NY. He was born July 24, 1955 in Elmira, NY, son of the late Daniel G. and Sarah (Cady) Waite, Sr. and passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Melissa (Wheet) Waite; sisters Shari Waite and Patti Paulo; nephew Adam Waite all of Elmira Heights; adopted daughter Molly (Tyler) Morrison; adopted grandchildren Mia and Jaxon Morrison all of Elmira. Dan retired as a Correction Officer with the Elmira Correctional Facility. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Clarence R. Oliver, American Legion Post 154 in Elmira Heights. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 27th from 2 to 6 pm at the Elmira Correctional Facility Clubhouse, N. Hoffman Road, Elmira.
